R-Kids Summer Camp – Family Camp, 2021
Remember summer camp?  There’s just something special about playing outside all day, swimming in the lake (that counts as bathing, right?), roasting marshmallows around the campfire at night.  Well, this year, camp isn’t just for kids – it’s for the family!  Come experience 2 days of jam-packed fun at Camp Cotubic!  Camp staff will take care of all the work (including the cooking!). You get to come and just have fun with your kids – with the bonus of faith-building moments, too!  Find all the details and registration information HERE.

We exist to help people love and follow Jesus for life. From out of this mission comes serving others both inside and outside of the church. Whether you’d like to help with the lawn care team, coffee team, serve with our lighting or video tech teams, or anything in between, there are many different ways to serve at The Refinery. Find more information on ways to serve our church HERE or email us so we can come alongside you to find your serving fit.

April Outreach – Serve Our City/Serve the World
This month our outreach focus provides opportunities for us to serve our city and our world. From connecting with the children in our Child Sponsorship Program and our ministry partners in Guatemala, to servant evangelism opportunities right here in our own city, there are several ways to be involved. Find more details below:

Serve Our City
• Servant Evangelism – upcoming Saturday (date TBD): We have an opportunity for 8-12 people to engage with folks in our community at a local ice cream shop and laundromat to let them know “God is good” and “They are loved.” Email Miranda Cross at for details or if you are interested in helping.

• Window Install at Faith Community Church – Saturday, April 24 – 8am -noon: We’re looking for 8-12 people with basic construction skills to help with new window installation at Faith Community Church in the Hilltop.  Email Jim Rose at for more details or if you are interested in helping.

Serve Our World
• Guatemala Child Sponsorship Families: Families who currently sponsor one or more children with our Guatemala Child Sponsorship program have the opportunity to send a personal message to their child(ren). We ask that you use the specially-created form for this purpose. Pick up one form per sponsored child at the outreach table on Sunday, stop by the office during the week, or email to request a form be mailed to you. Return completed forms/pictures to the church by Sunday, May 2.

• Say “Thank You!”: We invite everyone to grab a card and send a brief note of encouragement to Fili, Nidia and the Guatemala Life Center Team. Return cards to the church by Sunday, May 2.
